About Nilavan

Nilavan Jotham Daniels is a Division I college basketball player from St. Louis, Missouri. A talented guard known for his shooting, leadership, and work ethic, Nilavan played high school basketball as four year varsity player at Chaminade College Preparatory School before attending Link Year Prep and later joining the Providence Friars. Now he is committed to play for William and Mary University.

Standing 6-foot-3, Nilavan became one of the few Indian American athletes to play Division I basketball. His journey inspires young athletes who may not traditionally see themselves represented in the sport.

High School Highlights

At Chaminade High School, Nilavan:

  • Scored 1,124+ career points

  • Earned Metro Catholic Conference Player of the Year

  • Shot 50% from three-point range during his senior year

  • Earned All-Conference and All-District honors
